Areas of application:

HELAWAX HUM is used to remove and prevent limescale and gypsum deposits in water and waste water systems. HELAWAX HUM has a wide range of applications in industrial water systems, waste water systems and cooling circuits.

Prevention of limescale deposits:

HELAWAX HUM is active in the formation of carbonate crystals or calcium sulphate and blocks the growth foci. The calcium salts are kept supersaturated in solution without precipitating.

HELAWAX HUM is also an effective dispersing agent.

Existing calcium deposits can be gently removed from the system during operation.

HELAWAX HUM promotes the formation of passive layers on common metals such as steel, copper, aluminum and zinc. This provides effective corrosion protection.

Dosage and control:

Dosing is carried out with a quantity-dependent dosing system depending on the amount of water or waste water. The dosing quantity is determined by the customer advisor depending on the application. The HELAWAX HUM content can be determined using a rapid test or photometric test.

Delivery:

Is supplied in disposable drums of 60, 210 and 1000 kg.
