Mode of action:

FINEALGA BT is used to inhibit the growth of algae, bacteria and fungi in cooling systems and reduces the number of none. It is highly effective against a wide range of microorganisms and is particularly suitable for combating microbial contamination and the spread of potentially pathogenic microorganisms such as Legionella.

Environmental sustainability:

In concentrated form FINEALGA BT is classified as corrosive.
There is no danger at the recommended application concentration. FINEALGA BT is a fish poison and must not be allowed to enter groundwater, rivers and lakes. Further information can be found in the EU safety data sheet.

Application / dosage:

FINEALGA BT can be used for continuous dosing via dissolving tanks or intermittently with the aid of dosing sluices.
The application concentration depends on the type and quantity of the biological load.

Dosing should be carried out at a point with strong turbulence.
In the case of intermittent use, after the addition of FINEALGA BT the drainage of the cooling tower should be closed for some time if possible.

Delivery terms:

The product is supplied in tablet form in 5 kg containers.

The product must be stored in closed containers in a cool, frost-free place away from heat and direct sunlight.
